The Mortal Kombat reboot's version of Goro is mostly accurate to the video games, but the Shokan prince is changed in a few major ways. Not a concept that’s remotely difficult to grasp, of course, but where lines start to get a little blurry is the fact that humans – or what appear to be members of Earth’s dominant race, at least – are present in abundance on Outworld. The reboot goes all out with its fatalities and the best part is that they are always unique and executed well.
